Lawn Care Crew Member
Barefoot Lawn Care has full-time and part-time lawn care crew positions available for our Eastern Jackson County service area. Advancement for the right candidates is possible and part time hires may be able to move to full time work. Crew members who show good leadership, attention to detail, and great work ethic can step into lead positions as well.
Preference will be given to candidates with PROFESSIONAL lawn care experience, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Some landscape maintenance work will also be required when necessary. We put value in our work and we expect the same from our team members. The right employees will have the opportunity for advancement. This part time position can build into a full time position for the right candidate.
Regular hours may vary Monday through Friday and weekends are possible, especially in the busy seasons so candidates must be flexible and willing to work weekends when necessary during busy periods and weather delays. Pay is based on experience, work ethic, on-time arrival, etc. Applicant must have a strong work ethic, reliable transportation to and from the shop, valid driver’s license, and clean driving (for crew leads) and criminal records.
Work Environment:
Work is primarily performed outdoors and is subject to various kinds of weather. Employees are on their feet most of the day. Job duties require the employee to lift, push, pull, bend, etc. throughout the workday in both heat and cold. Good stamina and conditioning are required.
Essential Job Functions Include But Are Not Limited To:
·Mowing, landscaping, property clean-ups
·Safely operate powered equipment such as mowers, edgers, vehicles, chainsaws, trimmers, blowers, etc. for long periods of time.
·Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and hedges
·Minor equipment cleaning, maintenance, and troubleshooting
·Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, saws, trimmers and axes
·Additional duties as assigned
